Come join Local Illustrator/Artist Cindy Sarkady and explore adventures in illustrating a children's book. Jax Dreams of Heaven is the first book she has illustrated. Participants will have an opportunity to practice illustration by drawing their own pictures of dogs!

Cindy started painting in high school when her dad made her take a real class instead of study hall. Art was the only class available and she sold her 1st painting when she was 15 years old. Her passion is watercolors. Even after all these years she is still amazed how the colors flow just like magic to create the paintings. Illustrating children's books are a new endeavor for Cindy. She met an amazing author Tammy Stuhr at a conference last year who was looking for an illustrator and the rest is history. Jax dreams of Heaven is her first illustrated book and she will be starting on book two this winter. Cindy's “real” job is as an administrator working for the University of Wisconsin Madison, Division of Extension. She lives in Sheboygan with her husband John. She has 2 children and 5 grandchildren who all live out of state.
