Do you want to write about your experiences, but aren’t sure where to start? Short memoirs, or personal essays, can be the perfect way to tell your life story in bite-sized chunks. And with a little practice, they can be started (and sometimes finished) in an hour or less.
In The 60-Minute Memoir, local writer and journalist Jenn Walter will lead you through a series of fun, idea-generating exercises to kickstart your next personal essay. She’ll also discuss tips for writing quickly and strategies for overcoming writer’s block.
