WordHaven is partnering with Sheboygan County Humane Society to share some quality time with humans, adoptable pets, and books!

A representative from the Humane Society will be here with applications if you find a love match with one of the adoptable pets in attendance at this event.

Local Poet/Writer/Editor, Dana Boyer, will be our reader this month.

Our Rescue Pup this month is Marley!

Marley is a 3-year-old pittie. "She is a really well behaved girl. We have taken her to a number of events and she does so well at each of them! She is very smart and already responds to many common commands. Marley was surrendered because she snapped at a toddler in the house. Marley's adoption fee has been paid in full by a kind sponsor. Come meet this wonderful girl!"

Dana Boyer has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska. She is a published poet and essayist, and her first novel is currently out with agents.

She works as a freelance fiction developmental editor. She has lived everywhere from Asia to Europe, and now resides in Sheboygan with her husband and two boys.
