Illinois Children’s Author, John Bray, will be reading from book: The End.

Our rescue this week is Peppa!

Peppa is a 7 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is very shy at first, but once she knows she can trust you, her true personality comes out and she is the sweetest little love bug. She loves to play and wants to play with every other dog she sees through the fence here at the shelter. We feel she would be good with kids, if given the time to meet them properly through a slow, calm introduction. Peppa is a favorite among staff and volunteers, and no one can understand why she’s still here.

John Bray is an author of books for children and an assortment of other things. He won a bookmark design contest in second grade, and that's probably what set him on this path. He lives in St. Charles, Illinois with his son and a rambunctious dog named Lilly who’s the size of a modest cat.

His Children’s Book, The End, was named one of Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2022.
