As a professional geologist Globetrotta Productions President Lee Trotta has published over 100 technical and scientific reports. Lee has helped plan over a dozen geologic field trips in and around Wisconsin, various scientific conferences and has begun to lead educational events on “problem solving.”

In 2017, Lee began writing children’s books in what he calls “The Cheese Book Series.” Each cheese book stars a trio of loveable Jewish mice whose lives revolve around cheese. The series will include one for each of the 50 states and so far includes “Florida Cheese,” “Wisconsin Cheese,” and the new book “California Cheese.”

Lee Trotta is a retired scientist and former Badger football player who now devotes much of his time to writing children’s books and poetry. Though he was always adept at drawing cartoons, the fascination with children’s stories came while telling them to his children and grandchildren. A winner of the Sheboygan Theater Company volunteer award, he enjoys sharing his creativity with many audiences.
