"Yoga nidra, also known as 'yogic sleep' or 'effortless relaxation,' is a guided meditation that combines mental imagery with the yoga pose Shavasana, or 'corpse pose.' The goal of yoga nidra is to induce a state of deep relaxation while remaining aware of one's surroundings, which is different from sleep."
