Live Music w/ Trent & Colleen:
Colleen Machut is a singer, songwriter, and poet who lives in Sheboygan Wisconsin with her husband,Trent, and their son, Desmond. She and Trent have written over 20 songs, and have been included on Wisconsin Public Radio 's Simply Folk program. By day she is a social studies teacher at a local middle school. She also runs the Live Forever Project, an initiative she founded which seeks to tell the stories of elders through the arts. She and Trent perform throughout the Lakeshore area of Wisconsin.
Trent Machut has a Bachelor of Music in Recording Technology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, with an emphasis in classical guitar. He has been playing guitar and drums for 20 years and has been teaching music at his private studio since 2009. Trent has performed and recorded with rock, punk, and blues bands as both a drummer and guitarist, and currently enjoys working on projects with his wife, Colleen. He is the primary musician for the Live Forever Project, an initiative which seeks to preserve the stories of elders through the arts. Trent is also the drummer for Delta X, a classic rock band based out of Sheboygan.
